Introducing a new feedback system for Bloxay Answers

Starting today, we're trialing a new feedback system for Bloxay Answers.

We will be slowly rolling this very experimental feature out across all Bloxay Answers articles through the coming months. We'll update you when we've finished the rollout.

What's new

• The Bloxay Answers team will be notified of when someone provides feedback, what feedback they've given, and for what page the feedback is for.

• This is different from the previous system, where the page the feedback was for was not tracked, and the time that someone provided feedback was only loosely tracked.

• There is also a new anti-abuse system implemented, which we aim to further improve in the coming months.

• This new feedback system allows us to better understand the feedback we're given faster.

What's the same

• No user information is tracked, meaning feedback given is still anonymously.

• The feature is still used within our Privacy Policy and other relevant policies.

• There are still two answers for the same question: Was this helpful? Yes, No.

In summary, this new and improved feedback system allows us to quickly and easily review feedback given to us by readers. We'll also further improve upon this in the coming months to make it even better.

What's happening to the legacy feedback system

We're working to replace the legacy feedback system with this new feedback system. Until then, you can keep using the legacy feedback system on pages that support it. Eventually, once all pages have this new feedback system, we'll no longer have a use for the legacy feedback system, and it'll be fully removed from Bloxay Answers. The feedback pages (at /feedback/positive-feedback or /feedback/negative-feedback) will remain, yet won't be pushed to users. Eventually we'll remove these pages too.
