Submitting a Trust & Safety request to Discord
Reporting users that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines is a quick and easy way to ensure action gets taken. Follow this guide to submit a Trust & Safety request to Discord.
Under the What can we help you with? dropdown, select Trust & Safety.
Under the Your email address text type in your valid email. It is recommended to use the one linked with your Discord account, but is not required.
Under the How can we help? text select the valid dropdown that applies to you.
Under the Subject text enter in a relevant and short subject.
Under the Description text type a thoughrough, in-depth description which is grammatically correct and formal.
Under the Attachments (optional) text you can either add a file(s) or drop one in the box. This is optional and not required.
Once complete select the black Submit box.
You can expect a response back from Discord in 1-3 days.
Close your DMs on your computer
Right click on the server icon.
Click Privacy Settings.
Disable the first button which says Direct Messages.
Click Done.
Close your DMs on your phone
Hold your finger down on the server icon.
From the dropdown that appears, press on More Options.
Scroll down until you see Allow Direct Messages.
Disable the Allow Direct Messages button.
Close the menu.
