What are the Roblox Innovation Awards?

The Roblox Innovation Awards (sometimes abbreviated to RIAs) is an annual event officially run by Roblox. During the event developers, artists, and designers in the Roblox creator community are recognised for their work and dedication, and the best of the best receive trophies.

How the RIAs work

Every year, the Roblox community can nominate their favourite creators for a category. After the nominees are chosen, community members can vote for who they think deserve to win.

But not all category winners will be announced in the voting hub. Categories like People's Choice, Best New Experience, Best UGC Creator, Best Video Star, and Best Branded Experience will be announced at Roblox's annual developer conference, RDC.

In 2024, people in the Roblox Innovation Awards Voting Hub could additionally predict what experiences and creators would win to earn points and redeem UGC items for their avatar.
